Faith Formation for Mothers, part of Women On Wednesday, is on ongoing lecture series, broken into semesters, designed to help moms pass on the faith to their children. The Catechism of the Catholic Church format is the template of the presentations and it is conveyed in an easy and interesting way. There are handouts and outlines of all the sessions. At the end of the semester the attendees are given a CD version of the lecture series for future reference.
Our presenter in this series is John Meehan co-founder and retired president of Magdalen College. Mr. Meehan graduated from Saint Anselm College in 1970 and from Harvard University in 1971. He holds a Pontifical Certificate in Catechetics from the Sacred Congregation for Catholic Education in Rome and he is the founder and retired director of the Pope Paul VI Catechetical Institute. Mr. Meehan is also the author of Two Towers, The Mystery of Iniquity, CONVERSIO and numerous articles on the Catholic Faith.
